SCOTT SMITH
1955 - 2000
This season of Thanksgiving we are all reminded of what we are thankful for in our lives. We are also reminded of Loverboy bassist, Scott Smith, who was taken from us way before his time. His tragic accident on November 30, 2000 was felt across the globe. It was an incredible loss to all of us. We will never look to this time of year without remembering this man. His charismatic personality, his smile, and his kick-ass bass playing won the hearts of millions, as Scott charmed his way into our lives everytime he went onstage.
We are here not to mourn him, no, we are here instead to celebrate his life and pay tribute to a man we all miss and love. In doing so, we created a visual montage of snapshots highlighting Scott's career with Loverboy, using old videos and various onstage performances we think you will enjoy. Feel free to post your comment on this tribute page and be a part of keeping Scott's eternal flame burning bright with memories and love.
We also want to say thank you to all the band members of Loverboy for carrying on the music and keeping Scott's spirit alive. Thank you guys, you truly inspire us all. We remind all our friends that we are blessed to know each of you... Paul, Mike, Doug, Matt, Scott and Spider. We thank you for the beautiful gift of music you each have given us over the years. We are thankful everyday for Loverboy and we hold dear the joy your music brings.
On November 30th please take a moment and give thanks with us as we remember Scott Smith.
Thank You,
LFC
